I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable with the person sitting across from you. My style is warm, straightforward, and pretty down to earth. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be yourself. You should feel like you can talk about what's actually going on and not worry about saying the "right" thing.

I work with people in all stages of life, though I have a particular passion for working with older adults and their families. A lot can change throughout a lifetime, and sometimes having someone outside of your everyday life to talk with can make those changes feel a little more manageable.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Behavioral Analysis from Purdue University and my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my family, working in my garden, or finding another project around the house to get into.

More than anything, I want the people I work with to feel heard, respected, and genuinely comfortable coming to therapy.

What are you waiting for?
